Handelsonderneming Jan Kemp B.V. was founded in 1965 by Jan Kemp Senior and has been based in Peest Drenthe since 1974. The industry in which we are most active is scrap metal and recycling. In addition, we specialise in the import, export and repair of transfer machines. With a permanent team of professionals, we carry out our work with the utmost dedication. To this end, we have our own workshop and our own means of transport, enabling us to respond quickly to the needs of the market and our customers.
What will you do?
As an All-round Mechanic, you will work on the maintenance and repair of our machines. You will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance.
- Inspect, repair hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Working on site and in our workshop.
- Collaborate with colleagues to solve technical challenges.
What do you bring?
- Experience: Preferably in maintenance/repair of heavy equipment or cranes.
- Handiness: You can tinker well and have an understanding of hydraulics and electrical engineering.
- Mentality: Proactive, accurate and a true team player.
- Flexibility: willingness to work outside standard working hours at times.
