Handelsonderneming Jan Kemp B.V. was founded in 1965 by Jan Kemp Senior and has been based in Peest Drenthe since 1974. The industry in which we are most active is scrap metal and recycling. In addition, we specialise in the import, export and repair of transfer machines. With a permanent team of professionals, we carry out our work with the utmost dedication. To this end, we have our own workshop and our own means of transport, enabling us to respond quickly to the needs of the market and our customers.
About the position:
Are you a hard worker with an eye for detail and don't mind getting dirty? Then we are looking for you! For our washing area, we are looking for a motivated cleaner who specialises or wants to specialise in cleaning large equipment, especially transfer cranes. Using a high-pressure cleaner, you make sure these machines are clean for the workshop or the sprayer.
What will you do?
- Cleaning large equipment such as transfer cranes with a high-pressure cleaner.
- Removal of oil, grease, dust and other industrial dirt.
- Working in various locations, both indoors and outdoors.
- Checking the condition of machinery and reporting any defects or damage.
What do we ask?
- Experience in industrial cleaning or willing to learn.
- Affinity with engineering and large equipment.
- Not afraid of heights and willing to do physical work.
- In possession of a Vca certificate (or willing to obtain one).
- Possibly work on Saturdays once in a while.
